An intercooler must have the ability to cool down the compressed air and deliver it to the intake manifold without loosing pressure. The free flowing intercooler will help the turbocharger at higher rpm which will provide increased horsepower. Unfortunately, it is almost impossible to place a large capacity intercooler in a limited space engine compartment.
