Attention:
This RaceMax Hard Pipe system cannot be installed with the factory airbox. However the RaceMax Hard Pipes will fit almost all other intake systems including the Apex Aluminum Induction Box and ARC Induction Box.

This RaceMax Hard Pipe Kit is part of XS Engineering’s “modular” intercooler system and can either be used with the stock IC or the XS Power IC. These bolt-on pipes are designed to be interchangeable with their factory counterparts. The RaceMax Hard Pipe Kit for the EVO 8 includes ALL of the pipes from the turbocharger to the throttle body. What's the point of purchasing a hard pipe kit if there are still long, soft, flexible hoses in the intercooler pipe system?

The RaceMax line of intercooler pipes offer improved flow, increased boost capacity and quicker boost response compared to OEM corrugated rubber tubing. All RaceMax pipes are manufactured from mandrel bent, light weight, aluminum tubing for a superb fit and maximum performance. The flange that is bolted to the factory turbocharger outlet is CNC machined from billet aluminum for the ultimate in strength and durability. All joints are TIG welded and each set is hand-polished to a mirror finish and includes all necessary silicone connectors and fasteners.

Our battery upgrade kit, part number XS80-0200, is required for the installation of the RaceMax Hard Pipe Kit. Because we use a wide radius, smoother flowing bend into the throttle body, the huge factory battery will need to be replaced. This pipe kit fits all models of the EVO 8 chassis including the MR and the RS models.
